At Angst Gallery this month I have a couple pieces for the Bike Love show. I had a great time creating these bike stencils.

CDP Mural 2

The first part of mural I am working on for the Child Development Center is finished. The child is painted but the grey cogs and shapes in the back ground are cut paper. I will continue to add paper pieces a couple at a time so that for the rest of the year the mural will be a slow changing work in progress. I think it will be fun for the kids to come in everyday and see what has changed and what has been added.

Mural project

Here are a couple of images of a new mural that I have been working on for the soon to open Niche wine bar. Niche is next door to Angst Gallery at 1015 Main Street Vancouver. Niche will open this summer. The space is under construction currently, but it already feels cozy and inviting.

I am looking forward to the opening!

There are a number of wonderful art pieces currently on display in downtown Vancouver. A couple of my favorites are Jeannette Altman’s tree branch and her little houses (they look really lovely in the evening when the lights in the houses glow) and Crystal Schenk‘s finger print pieces.
